Hi Folks thinking of a similar trip in 2013. Now I did a trip to Mongolia last year and I would add a little bit of loctite and a small selection of nuts and bolts between ya. We also took an electronic pump which was handy! a few bottles of minitures and cigarettes to help with police checks were handy. Plus colour copies and laminated versions of v5 and driving licences helped. If you have to leave a driving licence you can always leave a copy! We gave originals at a border crossing and had to pay $100 US to get them back for supposedly speeding. It was for beer money so we could of left copies they would of been none the wiser! Most important thing is pack a sense of humour and patience! Good Luck!!
