• Spare chain (or spares to fix the chain)

• Spare Sprockets
• Spare brake pads (front and rear)
• Extra petrol containers (maybe 2 x 5L containers strapped to the back of the panniers)
• First aid kit
• Kidney belt
• Insect spray
• Hayfever stuff (lately I have been suffering from hayfever for some reason)
• Tent
• Sleeping Bag
• Cooking stuff (pots, pans, gas stove, etc ..)
• Headlight (torch)
• iPod/iPhone with chargers
• SatNav (although not sure if this will help much in Africa, lack of available maps)
• Maps of all countries (Tracks4Africa Garmin Maps)
• Camera and Charger
• Camera tripod
• Maybe a small laptop (.. got an Asus EEEPC, 16GB Solid State)
• 12V to 240V inverter (to charge and power things, etc…)
• Ducktape / Cable ties (this can fix a lot of things)
• Clothes (ah duh ..)
